“Hurray! It is Summer Holidays starting tomorrow, tonight I am going to pack my bags to leave for Grandma’s home tomorrow. I will enjoy her yummy recipes and roam around the village with my Grandpa and sleep in between them on the terrace by listening to their interesting stories. I’ll also play hopscotch and hide and seek with my cousins.” We all used to have these feelings in our childhood too. Didn’t we?

It would give us an elegant excitement listening to the word summer and we used to plan for the trip to our lovely places. But now we are stuck in mechanical lives, where we are not spending much time with our family and loved ones. We are bounded by tensions, hectic work, and actions that give us stress, etc. leading to mental illness. Do you remember how we used to gather and play with our friends and cousins? Where did those days gone now? Why there’s a change? We would travel along the fields, eat fruits, take rest under tree shade, and have nice talks with the people in our village, and surroundings. Those moments turned into memories today. We all are losing our relations day to day by engaging in technology, etc.

Lives were nice when we were kids. As we grew up, the situations changed around us and sent us to such an environment where there is no time to call our loved ones and talk to them. Don’t we feel it as a curse, I feel it so.

And I realized, I am not going to destroy myself in front of computers, and going to re-expose myself to nature. I will talk to my family members and strengthen the bonds. The upcoming summer, I’m going to pack my bags and I’ll be leaving for Grandma’s home to relive my childhood. Again, all my cousins will play games together and enjoy yummy dishes. Are you ready? to get back and cherish your childhood summer memories by leaving all those tensions and stress. Let’s start then.
